Description

Join us at Fuori Campo, the Palermo Cinema Club, where we watch and discuss well-known films through a psychoanalytic lens.

May 20 Movie The Lost Daughter (2021) by Maggie Gyllenhaal which is the adaptation of Elena Ferrante novel

After each screening, anyone who wishes is welcome to stay for a discussion.

Together, we explore relationship patterns and psychological themes that appear both on screen and in real life. We take time to reflect, to listen, and to better understand ourselves and others. We also touch on deeper existential questions: freedom and choice, fate and responsibility, the collective psyche, and what it means to live consciously.

June 3 Movie Ponyo (2008) by Hayao Miyazaki
