Ready to earn one of the best sunset views in Palermo?

Join us for an evening hike up Monte Pellegrino, Palermo's most iconic mountain.

We'll make our way to the summit as the temperatures begin to cool, arriving just in time to watch the sun set over the city and the Mediterranean Sea.

After the climb, we'll settle in for a casual community picnic overlooking Palermo. Bring your favorite snacks, nibbles, drinks, and something to sit on as we enjoy golden hour from above.

This is an active experience designed for people who enjoy movement, nature, and connecting with others outdoors.

What to Expect

We'll meet at the base of Monte Pellegrino before beginning our group hike to the summit. The route includes a steady uphill climb and requires a moderate level of fitness. Along the way, we'll enjoy incredible views, fresh air, and good company. Once we reach the top, we'll set-up our own picnic while watching the city below transition from day to night.

Important

This is not a casual city walk.

Participants should be comfortable hiking uphill for an extended period and should come prepared with appropriate footwear, water, and outdoor clothing.

We'll have one group leaving from Beet Botanical Gardens and another leaving from Beet via Agrigento to catch public transportation to the trailhead.
