Description

Bring your awareness back to the spine, the central column that supports your entire body, with a morning of relief and functional decompression in the peaceful setting of Beet Botanical Gardens.

On Tuesday morning , we’ll gather for practice designed to help you balance the physical toll of desk work and bring vital mobility back to your central axis.

Together with Sebas, will explore the three essential pillars of spinal health:

  • Segmental Articulation
  • Decompression
  • Core Stabilization

This session offers a clear, accessible guide to understanding your body’s true foundation and building a personal routine that supports your posture, regardless of your location, tools, or prior experience.

If you spend your days sitting at desks as a remote worker, find yourself constantly dealing with a tight back and stiff neck, or are simply searching for reliable ways to release daily physical tension, these practical sessions offer simple insights you can carry with you long after the class ends.

What to Expect

We learn how simple, intentional adjustments can completely transform our physical well-being and help to eliminate desk fatigue.

Through guided practice and functional breakdowns, we focus on:

  • The Desk Release: Unpacking why prolonged sitting creates stiffness and learning immediate, actionable movements to reverse the "computer hunch."
  • Wave Mechanics: A deep dive into moving the spine bone-by-bone (segmental articulation), unlocking rigid areas in the mid-back, and protecting the lower back from strain.
  • Accessible Longevity: Practical, tool-free exercises designed to strengthen the deep supportive muscles of the back, keeping you energized and pain-free during the workday.

Each movement and progression is designed to be welcoming, safe, and completely adaptable to your body's unique starting point. Restoring freedom to your spine is one of the most sustainable ways to care for both your physical longevity and daily mental focus.

Meet Sebas

Born and raised among Colombia’s rich natural landscapes, Sebas’s journey with movement began with a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Science. Disillusioned by a conventional healthcare system that often overlooks true body awareness, he sought a more holistic path. This led him to the world of Movement Culture and a three-year journey through Australia, studying under world-class teachers while living close to nature.

Through these experiences, Sebas realized how profoundly our environment shapes our well-being. Driven to create a space that counters the stress of modern life, he returned to Colombia to found Casa Kandamy—a generational family home transformed into a unique Movement Co-living space centered on movement, stillness, nature, and community.

Sebas’s sessions blend functional movement with playful exploration, offering a welcoming space to step out of your head, discover your body's potential, and connect genuinely with others.
